Duradek is installed only by contractors the manufacturer has trained and authorised. RhinoDecks holds a Duradek dealer contract covering Deroche to Hope, on the north side of the Fraser River, so the crew on your deck is trained on the terminations and wall connections where decks actually fail. That gives you two warranties: Duradek's on the membrane, and ours on the workmanship.

Deroche to Hope
The territory our Duradek dealer contract covers, on the north side of the Fraser River: Deroche, Lake Errock, Harrison Mills, Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs and Hope.
Agassiz averages 1,734 mm of precipitation over 212 days a year, by Environment Canada's 1991 to 2020 normals. A deck here spends most of the year wet, which is the job a welded Duradek membrane is made for.

Preparation
Structural inspection, then substrate preparation. Anything rotten gets replaced before the membrane goes down, because a waterproof surface over bad sheathing just hides the problem.

Installation
The membrane goes down in full sheets, and the detailing at walls, posts and stairs is done by installers trained on that specifically. Most residential decks take two to five days.

Walkthrough
We walk the finished deck with you, check every termination, hand over the warranty documentation and the care instructions. You can use the deck the same day.
